Festival of Globe (FOG) Telugu Chapter in collaboration with the Consulate General of India in San Francisco organized Makar Sankranti celebrations at the Consulate Premises in San Francisco on January 11, 2025. The event included cultural and traditional activities such as Bommala Koluvu (doll display), kite making, and classical dance performances. Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy and FOG Founder Dr.Romesh Japra spoke about the significance of the festival, while Madam Prathima Reddy blessed young children with the traditional Bogi Pallu. Around 150 attendees participated in the event.
