Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy participated in the annual event of Indians for Collective Action (ICA) held in Palo Alto, California with a theme ' Transforming to a Healthier World'.

Over 200 distingushed members of the Indian diaspora, including Prakash Agarwal, President @indiansforca participated in the event. While speaking at the event, Dr. Reddy highlighted various steps taken by the Government of India to provide universal healthcare to Indians, including the Ayushman Bharat scheme, world's largest government-sponsored health insurance scheme. He also emphasized the role played by NGOs in complimenting the efforts of the government for achieving inclusive socio-economic development of India. ICA, a San Francisco-based nonprofit founded by Indian Americans in 1968, collaborates with about 75 NGOs across India and the US, in promoting healthcare, education and sustainable development.
