On the occasion of the 155th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy, accompanied by Consulate officers, paid floral tributes to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in San Francisco. Located in a city known for its diverse culture and history, the statue serves as a reminder of the values of truth, tolerance, and compassion that Gandhi championed.

Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy participated in the annual event of Indians for Collective Action (ICA) held in Palo Alto, California with a theme ' Transforming to a Healthier World'.
Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy addressed attendees at the Silicon Valley TiE Angel Investors Day on October 3, 2024, emphasizing the importance of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship and connecting the vibrant startup ecosystems in India and the US, especially in the Bay Area. Ms.Anita Manwani, President @tiesv highlighted TiE’s mission to promote entrepreneurship through mentorship, networking, education, funding, and incubation. Deputy Consul General Shri Rakesh Adhlakha, accompanied by Vice Consul Ms. Himani Dhamija, visited Golden Gate University for a welcome reception organized for newly admitted Indian students. The Consulate team engaged with the students, participated in an interactive Q&A session, and addressed their concerns regarding consular services, job opportunities, and essential guidelines to follow during their stay abroad.
Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy delivered a key note address at the inaugural session of the 7th edition of the US-India Conference, co-hosted by All India Management Association [@aimaindia] and UC, Santa Cruz @ucsc Silicon Valley Campus. The conference, which focused on 'India & US: Trade-linked, Tech-Driven, Trust-Based' partnerships, brought together industry leaders and experts to explore opportunities for economic and technological cooperation. Dr. Reddy highlighted the recent initiatives to strengthen economic, commercial, and technological partnerships between India and the US, especially under the initiative for Critical and Emerging Technology [iCET] and Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity [IPEF]. Consulate General of India - San Francisco, organised an interactive session with the visiting CII Young Indians Initiative delegation at the iconic Gadar Memorial in San Francisco, today. Over 20 young entrepreneurs from Hyderabad Chapter are on a study visit to USA. Young entrepreneurs briefed CG about their visit, progress in their respective sectors and their aspirations for future. CG shed light on the new milestones & opportunities in India- US relations, and answered their queries in a Q&A session.
Consul General, Dr. K. Srikar Reddy, participated in the panel discussion on 'Expanding U.S-India Relationship in an AI World' at the second IIT Alumni-SoCal Conference in San Diego on 14 September, 2024. His co- panelists included Chancellor Pradeep Khosla, UCSD and Mr. Arjun Malhotra, Co Founder HCL Group. Consul General talked about new milestones in India -U.S relationship in AI & Semiconductors sectors, especially under the i-CET framework. He also encouraged IITians to become partners in India's journey to become a developed nation by 2047.

Consul Sripal Chittyreddy accompanied by Vice Consul Himani Dhamija participated in the inauguration of Nelson Mandela monument at California State University, Fresno. Consul also paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi’s monument in the Peace Garden and recounted the iconic leadership, and pathway to peace provided by Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela. A interactive session with Indian students in California State University, Fresno, was also organized, where Indian students interacted with the Consulate officials.

Consul General Dr.K.Srikar Reddy addressed the third India-U.S. Defense Acceleration Ecosystem Summit #INDUSXSummit2024, held on September 9, 2024, at @stanford in Palo Alto, California. He welcomed the participants and appreciated the significant progress made by INDUS-X in 15 months, fostering defense innovation and strengthening ties between the U.S. and Indian defense ecosystems. CG Dr. Reddy also interacted with startups from both countries pioneering innovation to solve joint defence challenges.
