Consulate General of India - San Francisco jointly with US_India Strategic Partnership Forum, IndiasporaForum, Guidance Tamil Nadu, and ATEA organized the 'Investors' Conclave' graced by Hon’ble CM of Tamil Nadu M.K. Stalin on August 29, 2024 in San Francisco. Over 250 persons representing various companies in the Bay Area participated in the event. @mkstalin set an ambitious target to make the state a $1 trillion economy by 2030. He informed about various business friendly initiatives of his government and called upon investors to explore opportunities in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu is the second largest state in terms of GDP estimated over US$ 340 billion. It ranks first among Indian states in manufacturing of Textiles, leather, heavy engineering, and automobiles. It contributes 20% of India's electronic manufacturing. Ranks 2nd software exports. Minister for Industries @TRBRajaa, CG Dr.K.Srikar Reddy, Secretary Industries, Arun Roy also spoke at the event.
