Consul General [CG] Dr. K. Srikar Reddy hoisted the Indian National Flag at the India Independence Day celebrations organized by the Mountain House Sports & Recreation Club at Central Community Park, Mountain House on August 10, 2024. Addressing the gathering, CG extended greetings on the occassion of celebration of the 78th Indian Independence Day. He appreciated the contribution of the Indian diaspora to the socio-economic fabric and cultural diveristy of the city. He encouraged all participants to be connected with India and benefit by participating in India's growth story.

The event was a grand success, with over 2000 participants, including elected officials joining in the festivities. The day was filled with vibrant cultural performances, a parade featuring the longest Indian flag, and a delightful array of Indian food stalls, along with arts and crafts shopping.
