Consul General [CG] Dr. K. Srikar Reddy was honoured to participate in the first India Day parade in downtown San Jose organized by the Association of Indo Americans(AIA). 40+ floats by sub-organisations of AIA depicted culture of various states in India. After the parade, CG hoisted the Indian flag at the event that was attended by about 4000 persons, including 50 elected representatives from the Bay Area. San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan hoisted the US flag at the event.
Consul General [CG] Dr. K. Srikar Reddy hoisted the Indian National Flag at the India Independence Day celebrations organized by the Mountain House Sports & Recreation Club at Central Community Park, Mountain House on August 10, 2024. Addressing the gathering, CG extended greetings on the occassion of celebration of the 78th Indian Independence Day. He appreciated the contribution of the Indian diaspora to the socio-economic fabric and cultural diveristy of the city. He encouraged all participants to be connected with India and benefit by participating in India's growth story.
Consulate General of India - San Francisco hosted a community reception in honor of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana Anumula Revanth Reddy and the Hon'ble IT and Industries Minister Minister Sridhar Babu at the Heartfulness Center in Fremont, California on 9th August 2024. Over 800 members of Indian diaspora from all across California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and other states of the US participated in the event.

Consulate General of India - San Francisco in partnership with US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) hosted Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri A. Revanth Reddy for a Semiconductors roundtable. Over 30 representatives from leading companies from this crucial sector shared their insights and pledged to make Telangana their destination. CM and Minister of IT Minister Sridhar Babu shed light on strengths of Hyderabad & Telangana, while sharing their vision to build futuristic ecosystem and infrastructure for the growing Semiconductor industry.
Consulate General of India - San Francisco hosted Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri A. Revanth Reddy for a brainstorming roundtable on Artificial Intelligence. 20 representatives including founders, investors& CEOs of companies and startups discussed their ongoing and future plans in India in general & in Telangana in particular; Elaborating government’s vision for Telangana in AI space, CM and Minister of IT Minister Sridhar Babu assured the investors of full support.

Consul General Dr.K.Srikar Reddy, along with elected officials from the Bay Area, inaugurated the FIIDS event on "Celebration of Resilience of Democracies" at FALCONX in Milpitas on August 28, 2024. He spoke about the contribution of the 5-million strong Indian diaspora and the shared values of democracy, freedom, and rule of law in deepening the strong U.S.-India Comprehensive Global and Strategic Partnership. Hosted by the Foundation For India and Indian Diaspora Studies (FIIDS), the event brought together leaders and officials to discuss democracy and key Indo-American policy issues. Assembly member Alex T. Lee, Milpitas Mayor Carmen Montano, Mayor Lisa Gillmor, Mayor Lily Mei, Alameda County Supervisor David Haubert, Elisa Márquez for Supervisor 2024, Sunnyvale Vice Mayor Murali Srinivasan, Councilmember Kathy Watanabe, former Foster City Mayor Richa Awasthi, and distinguished members of FIIDS and Indian Diaspora attended the event.
Consul General Dr K. Srikar Reddy addressed the IIT Bombay alumni and faculty gathering at the FAN Symposium 2024 held at Stanford University. He emphasized the pivotal role of academia in driving technological innovation, underscoring ongoing collaborations between the US and India in critical and emerging technologies. His address highlighted the transformative impact of these partnerships on fostering global innovation and the importance of academic institutions in shaping future technological landscapes.
Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy attended SEMICON West 2024 alongside Jennifer Boger, Director of the Office of Information and Communication Technologies from the U.S. Department of Commerce on July 9, 2024. At an event attended by over 100 participants, they engaged in a fireside chat about the Indian semiconductor market and its exciting opportunities. SEMICON WEST, held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from July 9-11, gathered industry experts to discuss sustainability, supply chain management, workforce development, and more. Consulate General of India in San Francisco organized a Music Concert of Hindustani Classical Recital by Sohini Roy Chowdhury, a renowned classical vocalist. Thank you University of Silicon Andhra for its support. The audience was mesmerized by the performance of Ms. Chowdhury.
Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy visited Golden Gate University [GGU] in San Francisco today. During his visit, he engaged in insightful discussions with President David J. Fike, Provost Bruce Magic, and other distinguished faculty members regarding collaboration with Indian higher educational institutions. Dr. Reddy also interacted with the Indian student community at the university. At present, 310 Indian students are pursuing their studies at GGU
Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy attended a dinner reception hosted by Mr. Saab Singh Bullar in Rancho Cucamonga, engaging with around 40 prominent members of the Indian Punjabi community. The discussions focused on strengthening ties between India and the Indian diaspora in Los Angeles.
On June 30, 2024, Indian Consulate San Francisco, in collaboration with United, Indian American Association,(UIAA) Indian Association of Los Angeles,(IALA) Indo American Social Association, (IASA),Vaishnav Samaj of Southern California and Jain Center organized a highly successful Consular Camp in Irvine under the initiative of Consulate@doorsteps. We are happy to share that around 200 individuals benefited from various consular services provided during the camp. A big thank you to our dedicated team, partners, and the community for making this event a success. Your support is invaluable.
Consul General, Dr.K.Srikar Reddy visited the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Pasadena, CA, on June 27, 2024. He met with Director, Dr. Laurie Leshin and discussed the ongoing and future collaborations between ISRO and JPL, including the jointly developed NASA–ISRO synthetic aperture radar (NISAR) satellite. He also met with the NISAR mission team led by Project Scientist Paul Rosen. NISAR satellite will be launched into space by ISRO from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota this year. NISAR satellite will use advanced radar imaging to map the Earth, including changes in ice sheets and glaciers, biomass, and land around volcanoes and earthquake faults.
