Consulate General of India in San Francisco organized a Music Concert of Hindustani Classical Recital by Sohini Roy Chowdhury, a renowned classical vocalist. Thank you University of Silicon Andhra for its support. The audience was mesmerized by the performance of Ms. Chowdhury.
Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy visited Golden Gate University [GGU] in San Francisco today. During his visit, he engaged in insightful discussions with President David J. Fike, Provost Bruce Magic, and other distinguished faculty members regarding collaboration with Indian higher educational institutions. Dr. Reddy also interacted with the Indian student community at the university. At present, 310 Indian students are pursuing their studies at GGU
Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy attended a dinner reception hosted by Mr. Saab Singh Bullar in Rancho Cucamonga, engaging with around 40 prominent members of the Indian Punjabi community. The discussions focused on strengthening ties between India and the Indian diaspora in Los Angeles.
On June 30, 2024, Indian Consulate San Francisco, in collaboration with United, Indian American Association,(UIAA) Indian Association of Los Angeles,(IALA) Indo American Social Association, (IASA),Vaishnav Samaj of Southern California and Jain Center organized a highly successful Consular Camp in Irvine under the initiative of Consulate@doorsteps. We are happy to share that around 200 individuals benefited from various consular services provided during the camp. A big thank you to our dedicated team, partners, and the community for making this event a success. Your support is invaluable.
Consul General, Dr.K.Srikar Reddy visited the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Pasadena, CA, on June 27, 2024. He met with Director, Dr. Laurie Leshin and discussed the ongoing and future collaborations between ISRO and JPL, including the jointly developed NASA–ISRO synthetic aperture radar (NISAR) satellite. He also met with the NISAR mission team led by Project Scientist Paul Rosen. NISAR satellite will be launched into space by ISRO from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota this year. NISAR satellite will use advanced radar imaging to map the Earth, including changes in ice sheets and glaciers, biomass, and land around volcanoes and earthquake faults.

The 22nd Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) 2024 commenced with great enthusiasm on June 27, 2024. Consul General, Dr. K. Srikar Reddy addressed the gathering and highlighted the remarkable global impact of Indian cinema, which continues to enchant and engage audiences worldwide.
Consulate General of India, San Francisco organized a successful consular camp at the Folsom Community Centre on June 23rd under the Consulate@Doorstep initiative, in collaboration with the Indian Association of Sacramento (IAS).
In celebration of the 10th International Day of Yoga, a comprehensive two-day yoga workshop was organized by the Bihar School of Yoga in collaboration with the Consulate General of India, San Francisco. Held on 22 and 23 June, 2024, in Sunnyvale and Gilroy, California, respectively. The program included a series of yoga asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation techniques designed to enhance physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
The Indian Consulate, San Francisco, in collaboration with the India Association of Phoenix, celebrated International Day of Yoga in Phoenix, Arizona! Consul Mr. Jaswant Singh represented the Consulate for this enriching event. Special thanks to the incredible instructors Shyam, Anshula, Soluna, Kahitij, Prabhat, Babu, Raman, Jatin, and Hamant from the India Association of Phoenix for guiding us through a wonderful yoga experience.
The Consulate General of India in San Francisco in coordination with Indian Association of Los Angeles [IALA], organized the 10th International Yoga Day in Los Angeles. Consul Mr. Jaswant Singh represented the consulate at this wonderful event. IALA was represented by Sunil Agrawal (President), Pramesh Shah (Executive VP), Manmohan Chopra (BoD), Falguni Zala (BoD). Together, we are promoting peace, harmony, and wellness through the ancient and transformative practice of yoga.
Consulate General of India, San Francisco in collaboration with India Cultural Center, Utah celebrated the 10th international yoga day in Salt Lake City with a refreshing yoga session attended by participants of all age groups. Vice Consul Ms. Himani Dhamija addressed the gathering highlighting the benefits of yoga and how in today’s fast paced world, yoga has evolved into an essential practice which everyone must incorporate to maintain healthy and stressfree lifestyle.
The Consulate General of India, in collaboration with Heartfulness, community partners FOG, and AIA,supporting partner SBI celebrated the 10th International Day of Yoga at Heartfulness Institute in Fremont. Over 350 participants joined, with elected officials and special guests like Acharya Lokesh Muniji and Bhai Saheb Satpal Singh Ji gracing the event. The Consul General, Dr. Srikar Reddy, addressed the gathering, highlighting the benefits of yoga. Advisor to President Biden for Asian Americans, Ajay Bhutoria, presented a recognition from the California State Assembly to Dr. Srikar Reddy. Children from AIA and FOG delighted us with a beautiful cultural yogic dance.

Consulate General of India in San Francisco organized a vibrant celebration of the 10th International Day of Yoga on 21 June 2024 at Crissy Field Beach, with the iconic Golden Gate Bridge as the backdrop. The event was graced by several dignitaries, including members of the Consular Corps and the Chief of Protocol of the City of San Francisco MaryamMuduroglu Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy warmly welcomed the participants and highlighted yoga's significant physical and mental health benefits. He acknowledged the support from partners, including the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine, SBI & ICICI Bank, in organising the event. The celebration featured a rejuvenating yoga session, during which attendees performed various asanas based on the Common Yoga Protocol and a peaceful meditation session. The event also included a unique demonstration of Mallakhamb, a traditional Indian sport involving yoga on a pole, which added a special touch to the yoga practices. The serene setti
