Consulate General of India led by Deputy Consul General Rakesh Adlakha in collaboration with House of India & local San Diego Indian Associations and Yoga Schools celebrated 10th International Day of Yoga at the beautiful Playa Park at Mission Bay, San Diego on 15 June 2024. People participated in Large numbers and enjoyed the Yoga session.

Consulate General of India, San Francisco in collaboration with Art of Living Foundation, hosted a yoga and meditation event at the Gadar Memorial Hall on December 15th, 2025. Mr. Michael Fischman, a founding member and former president of the U.S. Art of Living Foundation, shared insights on the Art of Living Foundation's mission to spread the transformative power of yoga and meditation. The event attracted over 100 people from across Bay area. Shri Harish Kharbanda Consul spoke about the significance of yoga and meditation in promoting mental and physical well-being, emphasizing their role in fostering inner peace and resilience. The event concluded with a group session of guided yoga and meditation, leaving participants feeling refreshed and inspired. The gathering exemplified the shared commitment to wellness and unity across cultures.
The Consulate organized an event on 14th Dec, 2024 to pay tributes to and honour the memory of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha, a legendary Gadar revolutionary at the historic Gadar Memorial in San Francisco. At just 19 years of age, this fearless son of India embraced death with dignity for the love of his motherland, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire generations. Families of Gadri Babas, Indo American Heritage Foundation, Fresno and other Associations related to Gadar Movement as well as prominent members of the Sikh/Punjabi diaspora in California attended the event. Deputy Consul General Sh. Rakesh Adlakha and other speakers paid tributes to Gadri Babas and emphasized on the need for unity among all religions as taught by Gadari Babas.
On 5 December, 2024, Consulate General of India organised a Tech roundtable in San Francisco with representatives, investors and startups in Media, Entertainment, & AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics) sectors to promote @WAVESummitIndia, scheduled from 05-09 February, 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

On November 24th, Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy spoke on the 'US India partnership and role of Indian Americans' at the Foundation for India and Indian Diaspora Studies [@FIIDSUSA] Indian American Advocacy Celebration Dinner.
In a celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage and diversity, the Consulate with the support of various Indian diaspora organizations in the Bay Area organized State Formation Day of #AndhraPradesh #chhattisgarh, #haryana, #Jharkhand, #karnataka #kerala #MadhyaPradesh, #Jharkhand, #Tamilnadu and #uttarakhand at India Cultural Center [ICC], Milpitas.
Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy graced the 6th Carrom World Cup closing ceremony held at the India Community Centre (ICC) in Milptas on November 16, 2024. The Carrom World Cup was held at the ICC from November 10-16, 2024, under the aegis of the International Carrom Federation, @ICFCarrom. This prestigious event, hosted by the United States Carrom Association (USCA) and led by Mr. Bala Parthasarathy, saw the participation of 17 countries and 150 players worldwide.
On 13 November, 2024, Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy participated in a panel themed- ‘ Thriving Innovation Ecosystems’ under the aegis of @EvolveSVF, and underlined the buzzling Innovation & Startup Ecosystem in India, Digital Public Infrastructure, and policy initiatives of GoI in deep-tech sectors including Semiconductors and AI.
On November 12, 2024, Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy had the honor of speaking at the Treasury Leadership Forum by Standard Chartered, where he discussed India: A shift from repatriation to an investment economy. It was a great opportunity to engage with industry leaders on India’s evolving role in global treasury and payments. The event concluded with a wonderful Diwali celebration
Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy hosted a community interaction at the historic Gadar Memorial on 10 November, 2024, during the visit of Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly Shri Kultar Singh Sandhwan to San Francisco. The meeting was attended by about 100 prominent members of Punjabi diaspora in California. Speaker Shri Sandhwan in his address invited the Indian diaspora to explore opportunities for investment in Punjab in sectors like manufacturing, food processing, medical tourism, IT, green energy, etc. Consul General and the Speaker paid homage to Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha and other Gadri Babas for their role in freedom struggle of India. A number of prominent members of the Punjabi diaspora spoke on this occasion and expressed their views on further strengthening their ties with Punjab.
Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy inaugurated the India Pavilion at the #AAPEX2024, the global automotive aftermarket industry expo, in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 5, 2024. Representing India’s strength in the auto component sector, 48 manufacturers led by @ACMAIndia showcased their products. Join us in exploring innovative solutions from India’s leading automotive suppliers.
Consul General Dr. K. Srikar Reddy paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his birth anniversary, honoring the spirit of unity that he championed.
