Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in Los Angeles – 41st Lotus Festival

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrated in Los Angeles at the 41st Lotus with India as the host country on 9-10 July 2022 in Echo Park Lake. Consul General Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad graced the Festival and highlighted India’s Unity in Diversity.  The festival showcased the rich and diverse culture of India through Indian Dance, Music, Yoga, Ayurveda and food. Consul General thanked City Council Member Mr. Mitch O’Farrell, the vibrant Indian community led by The Indian Association of Los Angeles (IALA), Federation of Indian Associations – Southern California (FIA),  TiE SoCal etc., The City Council and Department of Recreation & Parks gave proclamation on India’s 75 years of Independence.  The event attracted the attention of different cultures in beautiful Echo Park of Los Angeles #lacityparks . Consul General recognised the efforts of Mr. Sunil Agrawal & Dr. Ms. Lea Pandak for making the festival a big success celebrating diversity. Yoga sessions, recital of ‘Veena’ (India stringed musical instrument), regional energetic dancers including Bhangra attracted people.
