Consul General Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad interacted with Arizona State University (ASU) Dean Kyle Squires, Ram Pendyala of ASU School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment (SSEB) and other faculty members during his visit. He also met Ms. Julia Rosen of ASU Global Launch and with Mr. Moninder ‘Holly’ Singh, Assistant Vice President for International Students and Scholars Center (AVP) to discuss avenues for collaboration with Indian Universities/Institution of Higher Learning. ASU has already initiated some collaboration with some institutions in India including OP Jindal Global Institute. About 4600 Indian students are on campus at ASU. Most of the Indian students and Indian origin Faculty members at ASU are in STEM areas. There is a vast potential for cooperation in Education space, particularly after the New Education Policy was launched in 2021.
