As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav events and also to promote India's exports, the Consulate General of India, San Francisco organised a India-Heritage Bazaar at Shiva-Vishnu Temple in Livermore. Consul General inaugurated the Bazaar and emphasised on increasing awareness about Indian handicrafts ranging from textiles to metals while mentioning the call of Hon'ble Prime Minister to promote 75 products during Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Heritage Bazaar attracted hundreds of people in Bay Area with some of the local sellers setting up their stall at the Bazaar. The range of products displayed ranged from Paintings, Jewellery, Handlooms, Yoga, Ayurveda, Silverware, etc. A Heritage Conservationist Ms. Paul also spoke on the occasion emphasizing on the rich diversity of handicrafts produced in India. Vice-Mayor of San Ramon Mr. Sridhar Verose was also present on the occasion.
