Consul General Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad was the Chief Guest at the 2022 ‘Pongal’ Festival celebrated by San Francisco Bay Area Tamil Manram (SFBATM). San Ramon Vice Mayor Mr. Sridhar Verose, Council Member Ms. Sabina Zafar, Mountain House Director Mr. Harry Dhillon and other elected members and distinguished member from the Tamil Community were present, People wore traditional attires and decorated the site with festive colours and outside cooking of ‘Pongal’. A Rangoli competition was held at ‘Pongal’ Festival as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ with Consulate General of India San Francisco in San Ramon. Mrs. Padmavathi judged the contest and announced prizes. She also appreciated participation by younger children in the competition. Consul General appreciated the team SFBATM and congratulated all the participants at Rangoli competition.
